Magar village Tour (PALPA-N):
Bindipur is situated at the altitude of 1000m. about 143km. west
of Kathmandu and 85km. east of Pokhara at the top of hill settlement
in Tanahu District. There is ancient village of ethnic Magar
and Newar people.
Bindabasinee
Temple is an important temple of Bandipur, It is the home of
goddess Durga, where local people sacrify cock,duck,goat, during
the Dashain festiveal. This is the guardian deity of Bindipur.
Mahalaxmi temple is the second important temple of this village.
Bandipur is the best place to observe natural beauty of mountainous
view, Marshyandi river, Sunrise and Sunset as well as wide panorama
of mountains including Mt.Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu and
Ganesh Himal. Moreover, the biggest cave of Asia, named Siddha
Cave situated at Bandipur, which is 750 meters long. It was discovered
in 2052 BS. Beside these, it is also best place for Paragliding.
